Pilot FAQ's; Eastern Air-Shuttle

What makes shuttle flights different than the regular schedule?

Eastern Air-Shuttle flights may be flown at any time regardless of your current flight assignment.  They will also automatically credit 2 hours to the roster regardless of flight length.

What gates does Eastern use for the shuttle?
      Boston: A1-A4
La Guardia: Eastern Air-Shuttle Terminal 15-22 (current USAirways terminal)
      Washington: 41-44

What types of aircraft does the shuttle operate?
Both the 727-225 and A300B4 are used on the Air-Shuttle.  Either aircraft can be used when flying the Shuttle.

How do I report a shuttle flight?
The Pilot Report (PIREP) has a 'Eastern Air-Shuttle' option.  Selecting this box will have the database automatically credit the roster for your flight.

Is there a limit to the number of shuttle flights I can fly?
Yes.  We limit our pilots to 4 shuttle flights per week.
